We are head over heels for Ivona and Christian’s vintage dark blue white-and-wedding! Ivona, an event planner herself, immediately began pulling together ideas after Christian’s proposal, so that they could have an affair to remember. She started with the location, Aiola im Schloss St. Veit. The urban garden space was a great backdrop for a collection of blue-and-white hydrangeas . Eucalyptus garlands and cafe lights added an air of sophistication, while chic arrangements of peonies, suculents, hydrangeas, and garden roses accented tables. Her bouquet was wrapped with long pieces of vintage lace and grey ribbon. I have this love affair with Prussian blue, and showcases the deepest hue of the color, with an elegant and modern twist. Paired with aged gold, this shade of blue that’s not-quite-navy takes on a new life—the combination is traditional but at the same time unexpected.
